It is as if the party leaders had all received the same message as the Canadian on evening: a draw is enough! And the debate in was indeed … null.

Over time, I used to have great enthusiasm in the format of the Face-to-face VAT, each time promising lively real exchanges that allowed voters to get an idea.

Instead, during the French debate on Wednesday, we were entitled to an in an empty style of interest, concocted by a “commission” led by a former Radio-Canada (Michel Cormier), and animated by Patrice Roy, also Radio-Canada …

Upstream of the debate, two good had however emerged: the had been (finally!) Modified to take into account the holding of the Canadian’s , and the Green Party had been (finally!) Excluded to better reflect electoral reality in Canada.

This decision also gave rise to a funny situation, because the liberals had pretended that it was the exclusion of the Green Party that prevented them from participating in the Face-to-face VAT … Apparently, Wednesday, the absence of the Greens was no longer a problem …

The Low of the Check

Carney and Hairyre remained faithful to themselves, each having remained camped in his beaten track: one promised hope against Trump, the other was beating to stick to his opponent the nonsense of Justin Trudeau.

Jagmeet Singh committed the mistake of letting his exasperation appear before the bias of Patrice Roy – and I understand him more than anyone. But you should never the referee, even if it seems to bend for the other team.

Yves-François Blanchet experienced a typical evening for a leader of the block: he attacked the leaders of the parties in the running to form the government, criticized the imprecision of their promises … while refusing itself to provide a financial framework.

Political reality is that the block will never have the opportunity to do anything in the real – hence its carelessness in the face of the obligations of those who aspire to govern.

However, the block managed to recruit known in constituencies where their election seemed assured. We think in particular of Patrick Bonin, respected environmentalist, in Repentigny, or even Ariane Charbonneau, former spokesperson of Educaloi, in the district of the Pays-d’en-Haut.

Do these two have just realized that the veil rises on this fanciful side of the Quebec Bloc? Indeed, Blanchet likes to sermn, give lessons and expose the faults of others. It’s easy. But he will never have to make a real decision in the real world – and Quebec, like the rest of Canada, faces a crisis of a magnitude never seen outside of war.

Who to vote for, then?

No offense to the block, the NPD and the Green Party: these have become a race for two.

Pierre Poilievre is a seasoned politician, of course, but without other experience to face this existential crisis for Canada.

Mark Carney has the expertise to sail in troubled waters, and he has already proven it.

The voice of the people, the voice of God: It is now for all of us, the Peopleto decide.

With that, I wish you very happy .
