Harvard will no longer receive federal state subsidies, announces the Trump administration

The showdown continues between Harvard University and the Trump administration. “Harvard should no longer ask for federal subsidies, since she will no longer receive it”warned the Secretary of American Education, Linda McMahon, in a letter addressed on Monday May 5 in Alan Garber, the president of the institution located near Boston.

A “progressive mess”, for Trump

Harvard, the oldest university in the United States and one of the best classified in the world, has particularly attracted the wrath of the Republican president by attacking the freezing by his government of two billion dollars in federal subsidies, decided after the renowned institution refused to bend to a series of requirements by Donald Trump.
