On April 30, the average basket amounts slightly to € 1,781 (+1.3 %), the business volume fell by 0.5 % and the number of files decreased by 1.8 %
Contrasting geographies
France constitutes the only area up in number of files (+2.2 %). The Middle Currier displays stability, while The long -haul plunge -23.9 %. Ce Segment, more unstable, records a sharp decrease in reservations, but also a significant increase in the average basket (+10.3 %).
In business volume, France and the Middle Currier rose respectively by +2.1 % and +5.3 %, while the Long -Courrier recorded a drop of -16.1 %.
The trends in destinations in April
The podium remains unchanged: France, Spain and Tunisia dominate the choices. Among the top 20, the destinations that gain in popularity are:

–Egypt (+12.2 %)
-The Netherlands (+32.7 %)
-The Croatia (+19.2 %)
-Tetnam (+42 %)
On the other hand, Morocco (-12.3 %) fell back, just like several large long-haul destinations (Dominican Republic, United States, Thailand, Mexico, Mauritius). The long-haul only represents only 7.3 % of the files sold in April, down 2 points.
April 2025: Stopping in reservations
After a good start to year, April marks a withdrawal: the business volume drops by -7.6 %, the number of files decreases by -7.3 %, and the Average basket stagnates at 1,692 €. The second half of April shows a more marked decline with -11 % in number of files!
No geographic area is progressing in April. France limits losses with -2.5 % in number of files. The Middle Currier follows the general trend (-7.7 %), while long-haul fell heavily (-21.5 %). The average basket nevertheless increases for the average and long-haul destinations (almost +4 %), while that of France fell slightly (-2.3 %).
Among the rare increases: Tunisia, Egypt (+23 %), Portugal, Croatia and the Mexico (+17.6%, the only long-haul destination is growing). On the other hand, Spain, Greece, Morocco and Turkey are clearly retreating, just like the United States, the Dominican Republic or even Thailand. In this context, France captures a larger share of reservations, reaching 44.5 % of the files (+2.5 points)!
Summer 2025: a hesitant start -up
At the end of April, the booking dynamics for the summer remain fragile. The number of files bents at -5.1 %, despite an increase in the average basket at € 2,880 (+4.7 %). Result: business volume slides slightly at -0.4 %. The decline is generalized, except for the average basket.
The long -haul records the strongest decline in reservations with almost -15 %, followed by France and the Middle Currier, both decreased around -4 %. Only the Middle Currier manages to maintain a slightly positive volume of business (+1 %). On the average basket side, foreign destinations are progressing, in particular long-haul (+17 %), While that of France remains stable.
-Summer destinations classification
France, Spain and Morocco are always well classified in the Top 20, but all display a decline in number of files. Conversely, Egypt, the United Kingdom and Canada are growing strongly, the latter seeming to capture a part of the flows traditionally directed to the United States.Many destinations record marked declines: Greece (-15 %), Morocco (-19 %), Dominican Republic (-14 %), Mexico (-35 %).
What about distribution channels and traveler typologies?
Resistant, physical travel agencies limit losses with -1.3 % files while compensating thanks to a High average basket (€ 3,739, +5 %). Their business volume is maintained, unlike remote channels (e-commerce and call centers), where Reservations drop by -11.6 % and the average basket is € 1,507. This negative trend could announce an upsurge in last minute sales on these channels.
All profiles display a drop in number of files for the summer:
-Solos: -9 %, average basket € 1,741 (+7.1 %)
-Duos: -1.1 %, average basket € 2,464 (+3.2 %)
-Familles: -5.7 %, average basket € 2,941 (+4.6 %)
–Groups of friends: -10 %, average basket € 3,860 (+10.9 %)
Duos are best resistant, close to balance, while groups of friends display the highest drop.
Top 10 cities reserved for this summer: Paris still in the lead
The classification remains dominated by Mediterranean destinations, with Paris in first position, followed by Heraklion (Greece) and Djerba (Tunisia). Paris stands out with an increase around +28 % in number of files. On the other hand, other cities like Palma (-17 %), Lanzarote (-8 %), Tenerife (-2 %) or Marrakech (-21 %) see their performance deteriorate.
Flop in the United States: persistent tensions on the destination
Since January 1, 2025, the United States destination has been showing a global decline since the start of The year. The number of departures fell by -12.6 %, the business volume follows the same trend at -10.5 %, and the average basket drops slightly to € 4,220.
Stays in the form of packages excluding circuits display a modest increase of +8.7 % in number of files, despite an average withdrawal basket (€ 3,059, or -5 %). THE Hotel reservations greatly retreat (-10.7 %) and their average basket decreases to € 1,110 (or -13.5 %).The more complex circuits for sale in the current context, display -16.2 % of filesdespite a moderate increase in their average basket (+2 %, or € 6,395).
Reservations to the United States since the beginning of 2025 plunged -23.6 % in business volume with a decline in number of files of -24.1 %.The average basket remains stable, around € 5,356. Mars displays a critical situation, with certain weeks when the market drops to -50 %.
In April, the number of departures decreased sharply with -17 % of files recorded compared to the same period in 2024or a record since the start of the year.
