A man lost his life in a car accident on the morning of Sunday, May 4, on the way to the Grand-Bernier Sud in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The driver’s death was found at the Haut-Richelieu hospital the same day.
According to the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu police service, the accident occurred in the morning. The 23-year-old man was driving south on the way to the Grand-Bernier Sud when he went out.
The emergency services mobilized on the scene to perform first aid maneuvers on the victim, who was unconscious when they arrived. The man was transported to the hospital, where his death was then noted. The driver was alone in the vehicle at the time of the facts.
