The brand of extra Ardhi virgin olive oil (Ma Terre) produced in the delegated wilaya of Aïn Oussera, north of Djelfa, won two gold medals during an international competition organized in Geneva, Switzerland.

Cited by APS, the agricultural investor and promoter of the Ardhi brand, Adel Ben Addouda, said that the evaluation of olive oils in this competition was made according to strict criteria on sensory quality, purity and nutritional value.
The evaluation was ensured by a jury made up of 12 international experts from countries renowned for their tradition of olive oil production, such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Argentina, Turkey, Tunisia and Algeria.
Produced in an eco-responsible farm, located in the Aïn Oussera region, Ardhi olive oil is extracted from olives from the Chemlal variety, from the cold pressure without water, within less than 24 hours after the olives harvest, in order to preserve the flavor and the nutritional value of the product.
The producer stresses that extra Ardhi virgin olive oil is available for direct sale every Friday at the Zéralda educational farm in Algiers. It is also marketed in fine grocery stores in Algiers and Oran, and will soon be accessible in the country’s other wilayas.
