A fire broke out, on the night of this Monday, April 14, April 15, in an apartment near the city center of Chambéry (Savoie). Three people were slightly injured, after inhaling smoke.

A violent fire broke out on the third floor of a building, close to the city center of Chambéry. The Savoy firefighters were alerted shortly before midnight this Monday, April 14, for a fire start at the Pney Chemin.
Upon arrival on site, the emergency services evacuated around forty people. Three victims were taken care of after being intoxicated by the release of smoke. Slightly injured, they were transported to the Chambéry hospital center.
Just under 45 firefighters were engaged on the scene while the flames spread to the above floor and the roof. After many hours of struggle, the fire was finally under control and extinguished this Tuesday, April 14 in the morning, shortly after 7 am.
