A 38 -year -old man, who had introduced himself to the home of the Pennsylvania Democratic Governor, Josh Shapiro, to set fire, was charged on Monday, April 14, notably for attempted murder and terrorism.
The police announced on Sunday, the suspect’s arrest, Cody Balmer, after intervening overnight in the official residence of Mr. Shapiro, a heavyweight of the American Democratic Party in Harrisburg, capital of Pennsylvania.
The elected official was with his family inside his home where he celebrated the Jewish party in Passsa’h on Saturday, when everyone was awakened and evacuated by his security service because of the fire. “Even if the fire could be turned off, he caused significant damage to part of the residence”said the authorities in a statement.

According to court documents, the suspect gave himself up to the police.
