Distinguished in 2024 from the Autumn Revelation Prize by SGDL, the author signed with this first novel a tragic family survey. Navigator Peter Tangvaldshe hardly known this father, disappeared in 1991 with her seven -year -old sister in a sinking. Only survivor, his brother Thomas will in turn perished at sea in 2014. 5,000 euros of endowment
The price, with 5,000 euros by the town hall of Ramatuelle, will be given to him by Roland Brunomayor of the city, during a dinner organized on June 7 in the heart of the Fonduegues-Pradues vineyard. The award ceremony is part of the 4ᵉ edition of the Pampelonne Ramatuelle Prix Festival. For three days, this event dedicated to biography, autobiography and “major life stories” will allow the public to meet the winner, finalists and members of the jury through various activities. The festival will end on Sunday June 8 by the projection of Mr AZNAVOURof Idir et Big sick bodyfollowed by a master class animated by the singer’s younger son.
The Prix Pampelonne Ramatuelle rewards each year a biography, an autobiography or a great life story.
Chaired by David Foenkinos, the 2025 jury is made up ofAnna Cabana, Nicolas Briançon, Stéphane de Groodt, Émilie Frèche, Rachel Khan, Lou Leclair, Danielle Mitelman et François Rey.
