Since April 19, Homeboxes and borderless libraries have been mobilizing, together, to make culture, education and information access to all. Thus, since that date and until May 11, the Homebox centers in Champagne-au-Mont-d’Or and Décines-Villeanne have become collection points.
A solidarity operation that allows everyone to make books of books that he no longer uses. Romans, comics, youth album, etc., all works, in good condition are accepted, with the exception of textbooks, encyclopedia, dictionaries and travel guides.
Works of children’s literature or documentaries are particularly acclaimed and sought after.
Libraries, equipment, funding …
Once collected, they will be redistributed to support the various projects carried out by libraries without borders, namely the creation of libraries in priority districts, the equipment of emergency reception center or the financing of other ideas, via the solidarity resale of certain works.
“Participating this operation alongside libraries without borders is a continuation of our commitments for more solidarity,” said Cyrielle Vandenbroucke, CSR director of Homebox.
