
During this operation, the French – of which 51% said they were ready to give their books (rather than reselling them 11%)* – are invited to deposit the books of which they no longer have the use in the part of partner collection closest to their home in order to offer them a second united life.
Initiated in 2013 by Fnac and Library Without Border (BSF), the largest collection of second -hand books in France has already raised and redistribute nearly two million books!
This year, the movement is gaining momentum thanks to six new brands engaged alongside them for the access of all to reading, culture and education: Darty, Nature & Découvertes, Cultura, Homebox, SNCF – Gares and connections and the good Left bank.
-About twenty microbibliarasses born from the BSF program and the Cultura Foundation will also become collection points during the operation either to directly enrich their own funds, or to benefit the Microbibli community.
The author of BD and director Riad Sattouf is the ambassador this year Alongside the cultural journalist and literary critic Augustin Trapenard, godfather of BSF since 2018.
