March and April in the top 4 of the hottest months in history

A hot summer in sight? Not so sure!
The spring of this year 2025 and its sunshine rate are not, however, announcing a scorching summer in terms of statistics. Pascal Mortmal was able to notice that in 2011, despite exceptional sunshine, summer was … rotten. “In 2011 we were really on an incredible spring which was very generous in terms of sunshine, very dry and above all very sweet but it was followed by a rotten and very capricious summer. In 2003 and in 2020 it was the opposite since we had known superb spring but also very hot summer periods, even scorching for the year 2003.”
The seasonal models of the meteorologist, however, are heading for a summer which promises to be warmer than the average. “”Current trends, depending on the model, show that we will have a hot summer period. The nuance is whether summer will be very hot, exceptional or just just hot than average. Where I don’t know yet, it’s whether summer will be rainy or not because there is not yet a very clear signal. “
