“As part of the photographic meetings which will take place in August, we organize in parallel a competition of Rurbex photos, photographs of abandoned rural places. This competition is already knowing that shipments must reach before May 12, period ”, Indicates Guillaume Belœil.

The main organizer of this event specifies that the 20 photographs will be selected and exhibited during the festival, and the three will receive a prize.

The photographic meetings, welcomed to the priory of Saint-Benoît-du-Sault for the second consecutive year, is the largest festival of photographs of authors in the department of Indre.

“For ten days, eight photographers will exhibit their : Charlotte Auricombe, Bruno Vialaneix, Thibault Lefébure, Nathan Benkemoun, Hélène Fricout, Mathieu Papion, Guillaume Beloeil, Gwénola Chaudon”, Added Guillaume Belœil, who specifies that during this period conferences will take place as well as practice workshops for of leisure centers, image reading workshops in college and others, including film projections, concert-projection of photos around photographs of Nadar and concert with the musicians of the Baroque Music Festival Le Temps suspended.

This project is supported by the community of municipalities on Occitan Val d’Anglin (MOVA), the Center-Val de Loire region, the Department of Indre, the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC), the Development Fund for Associative Life (FDVA) and private patronage.
