An exhibition to discover the colors of Marcelle Ferron

The artist Marcelle Ferron would have been 100 years old in 2024. To mark this centenary, the Raymond-Lasnier exhibition center in Trois-Rivières is hosting a vibrant and colorful exhibition that highlights the works of this artist from Louiseville.

Marcelle Ferron is an essential artist in the history of in Quebec and Canadaexplains the director of visual arts at Culture Trois-Rivières, Marie-Andrée Levasseur. She is one of the great abstraction painters of the 20e century.

And it is with Marcelle Ferron – The colorful gesture that visitors will be able to discover or rediscover until March 9, 2025 the great creations of one of the signatories of Overall refusal.

In August 2023, she was designated a historical person by the government of Quebec.
