This wasn’t really a surprise. Christine Macel, who had been appointed director of the museums of the Central Union of Decorative Arts (Museum of Decorative Arts and Nissim de Camondo Museum) remained in this position for a total of two years. She left him following an investigation into the climate within the establishment, which had notably experienced several departures. She will remain, until the end of her secondment in October 2025, scientific and artistic advisor to the president of UCAD, Johannes Huth.
