They had been waiting for him since last weekend. Thursday October 17, the sky of the pink granite coast finally cleared at nightfall to allow us to see the famous comet Tsuchishan-Atlas. Something to delight amateur photographers.
Above the Dourven
Tonight, finally! It finally revealed itself in the Breton sky! Here is the comet that everyone has been talking about for days, described by some as the “comet of the century”.
Photographed by Gildas Duval and Franck Jan above Locquémeau and the tip of Dourven and Trélévernthe effect is guaranteed.
The full moon hampered the observation
According to the photographers, the full moon, which was located opposite the comet, hampered the light conditions for observing it with the naked eye. But the photos are successful.
There are still a few days left to see it every evening around 8 p.m. towards the west. After next weekend we will have to wait 80,000 years!
