In , a new graffiti by Hoz, rue de la biche in Kerfeunteun

Monday October 7 at 5 p.m., at 2 Hent ar Heizez, Kerfeunteun district in , a graffiti created on a public electricity distribution station by the artist Thierry Biger, alias Hoz, was inaugurated. This work, the result of a project proposed by residents as part of the participatory budget, transformed the walls of the transformer into a living fresco. “Hent ar Heizez, rue de la biche in Breton, is an extension of rue des chassers. As a wink, the animal fresco represents a deer in the middle of the forest between squirrels and mushrooms, which is captured by the photographer, an image hunter,” explains Pédro Oléa, from the Kerfeunteun neighborhood association.

Artistic projects technical supports

A graffiti artist for 35 years, Hoz, an artist from Quimper, has made a living from his passion for ten years. He creates works for communities, businesses or individuals, and is particularly known in Quimper for his graffiti bearing the image of Aristide Briand. The Hent ar Heizez fresco was created in five days using aerosol cans, in accordance with the requirements of the specifications signed by Enedis, the Finistère Departmental Electricity Union and the municipality of Quimper.

Jacques Naour, deputy director of Enedis in Finistère, was delighted to see more and more artistic projects using these technical buildings as a support: “Some blend perfectly into the landscape to the point of making them almost invisible…”

Bernard Jasserand, deputy mayor of Quimper, in charge of the Kerfeunteun district, praised the collaboration of the various actors who made this project possible. “It’s a great example of participatory democracy which brings color and cheerfulness to the neighborhood,” he underlined in front of the twenty people present.
