The IFEF or the Institute of La Francophonie for Education and formation is a subsidiary body of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) dedicated to the implementation of actions related to education and training.
Mission Description
As part of communication activities, the IFEF is looking for an intern to support the team in the production of visual and digital content. The main missions will be as follows:
Visual creations and graphics
- Creation of communication supports (posters, banners, visuals for social networks, newsletters, reports, etc.);
- Participation in the evolution of the IFEF graphic charter;
- Creation of templates and multi-channel design models.
Production of digital content
- Participate in thinking about new modes of visual storytelling (carousel, video teaser, animated infographics, animated video maps, etc.).
- Development of visuals for online campaigns (carousels, stories, animated infographics, etc.);
- Photo editing and video editing for internal and external communications;
- Production of video clips and motion design animations.
Support for communication projects and campaigns
- Support for IFEF awareness events (logistics, creation of promotional content).
- Iconographic research and creation of visuals for articles, publications and events;
- Collaboration with the team on the dissemination of digital communication campaigns;
- Participation in analyzing the performance of content distributed on social networks.
Desired profile
- Currently training or having recently completed higher education in graphic design, visual communication, or digital arts;
- Excellent command of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and/or Canva;
- Knowledge of social media platforms and suitable visual formats;
- Be proactive and show creativity, curiosity, and passion for engaging and innovative visuals;
- Good organizational, autonomy and teamwork skills;
- Knowledge of video editing and motion design is an asset.
Internship conditions
- Location: IFEF, Dakar (Senegal)
- Duration: 3 to 6 months (to be defined)
- Start date: October 2024 (date to be confirmed jointly)
