It’s an annual event that we definitely don’t want to miss: the Salon des Beaux-Arts is back for a new edition from December 4 to 15, 2024, at the Réfectoire des Cordeliers in Paris.

Drawing, painting, sculpture, dance: the Beaux-Arts bring together many disciplines responding to artistic and cultural academic traditions. This movement, born in the 18th century in France, is still appreciated and celebrated: the proof, with the Fine Arts Exhibitionwhich returns for a new edition, from December 4 to 15, 2024.

This year, this century-old show is once again setting up in the 6th arrondissement of Parisau Cordeliers Refectory. This great historical event has brought together all art lovers in the capital since 1862! It is free and open to all: we therefore have every reason to take advantage of it.

This exhibition is a true showcase of contemporary creation, bringing together renowned artists as well as new talents in a historic and enchanting setting.

A place steeped in history: The Cordeliers Refectory

The choice of the Cordeliers Refectory to host this event is far from trivial. This historic building, built in the 13th century and listed as a historical monument, offers a unique setting, combining the solemnity of its Gothic architecture with the creative energy of the artists exhibited. This majestic space, once dedicated to Franciscan monks, is today an exceptional cultural venue which, with its vaults and large rooms, creates an atmosphere conducive to artistic contemplation. History and art meet there to offer an unforgettable experience to visitors.

An eclectic exhibition of international talent

The Fine Arts Fair 2024 highlights a diversity of works and styles, bringing together painters, sculptors, engravers and photographers from all over the world. Organized by the Société des Artistes Français, this event aims to promote all forms of artistic expression and to encourage exchanges between creators and art lovers.

Every year, contemporary works rub shoulders with more classical creations, offering visitors a rich and varied panorama of contemporary art. This diversity allows everyone to find works that resonate with their personal tastes, whether figurative or abstract paintings, modern sculptures or experimental photographs. For this 2024 edition, the show is divided into two parts:

  • Sections Painting, Sculpture, Ceramic Sculpture, Textile, Wall Works
    From December 4 to 8, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
    Late night openings on the 4th and 7th 11am – 9pm
  • Paper-Paper, Photography, Sculpture Sections
    From December 11 to 15, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
    Late night openings on the 11th and 14th 11am – 9pm
