The fourth day of Serie A begins this Saturday, September 14 with Como-Bologna at 3 p.m. and will then continue with Empoli-Juventus, Milan-Venice, Genoa-Rome, Atalanta-Fiorentina, Torino-Lecce, Cagliari-Naples, Monza-Inter, Parma-Udinese and finally Lazio-Hellas Verona. But as since the start of this 2024-2025 season, none of these matches will be broadcast in France. The Italian football league has not managed to reach an agreement on its TV rights with one of the interested channels, according to L’Equipe.

Previously broadcast by beIN Sports, Serie A has been without a broadcaster since this summer. As reported by RMC Sport, the Qatari channel has distanced itself, considering that it does not particularly need the rights to the Italian championship to maintain an attractive offer.

DAZN, faced with the complex situation of subscriptions for Ligue 1, is still announced in the running. But the echoes of late August indicated that the British platform was looking to play the least with the Italian leaders in the hope of reducing the bill.

Two great matches on the fifth day

For Serie A, time is running out. Not only because the lack of broadcasting represents a loss of revenue. But also because the fifth day of the championship, scheduled for September 20-23, offers two big games: Juventus-Naples on Saturday (6 p.m.) and especially the Inter-AC Milan derby on Sunday (8:45 p.m.).

Meanwhile, four teams are leading the table with seven points: Inter, Juventus, Torino and Udinese in that order. AC Milan is only 14th with just two points and without a single win.
