You may have seen this video on the Instagram account of video artist Ian Padgham (@origiful), in connection with the LGBT media paint : we see the Arc de Triompheas usual, posted right in the middle of the place de l’étoile, but this time surrounded by a grandiose work in the shape of a rainbow, which extends to the top of the road and ends with a cloud that seems to float in the sky.

And like us, you may have been fooled by the stunning realism of this video, actually generated by artificial intelligence and imagined by the brilliant Ian Padgham on the occasion of LGBTQ+ pride monthwhich takes place in June around the world.

A work that is actually fake

Whether, much to our disappointment, the artwork is not realit was nevertheless imagined for a very specific reason: the celebration of Pride month in and abroad, which aims to recall the fight for equal rights for LGBTQI+ people. On the cloud generated within the video, we can also read “pride march”in reference to the event which will take place on June 24 in the capital. Suburban Pride will also take place in Seine-Saint-Denis on Saturday 3 June.

In the caption of the video, Ian Padgham also wrote: Happy #pride2023 to everyone, everywhere -
