Xherdan Shaqiri becomes minority shareholder of FC Rapperswil-Jona. As the Promotion League club communicated, the FC Basel star wants to “prepare for his post-career”.

After twelve years spent abroad, the 33-year-old from Basel returned last summer to his longtime club, FC Basel, in the Super League.

Shaqiri’s engagement has of course been agreed with the FCB and the Swiss League and does not represent any conflict of interest. He is linked by a long-standing friendship with the president of the FCRJ, Rocco Delli Colli.
