A major police operation took place Sunday evening in the Cap-Rouge sector, in Quebec, after a minor was “inconvenienced” in an altercation with other armed young people.
It was a witness who noticed the fight outside on Avenue Robert-L.-Séguin, around 7:30 p.m., who contacted the police.
“The altercation turned into an armed attack. A young person was inconvenienced by a weapon during the event,” indicates Laurence Godbout, spokesperson for the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ), without saying more about the circumstances surrounding this case.

According to our information, the victim received cayenne pepper in the face, but did not require transport to hospital. A bladed weapon was also allegedly used in the aftermath of the events.
A search, in collaboration with the dog handler, was carried out in the evening in order to find the people involved in this case.

“Ultimately, no arrests have been made at this time. The case is under investigation and there are still witnesses to meet,” specifies M.me Godbout.
