There is no age limit for making snowmen. Mélanie Jacquin, 38, prefers snow animals. And with each beautiful snowfall, she uses this natural gift to give life to all-white beasts.
In the hamlet of “Pouzols” in Saint-Jeures, this animal lover and illustrator and painter combines her two passions. She had made a foal in March 2024 on which she had spent an hour, the snow had been particularly abundant and of good quality.
This work had an effect on social networks. She took advantage of the recent return of snow to embark on a new creation this December 24: a white wolf. “The work was a little more complicated because the snow was quite powdery, it took me 1 hour 30 minutes.” She posted the photo on the same Facebook group “Haute-Loire” and the comments were quick to come, always rave, including one that particularly warmed her heart: “Too so beautiful! Congratulations on this beautiful creation that brings joy to our hearts…. There should always be beautiful things like this, instead of all these negative things that assail us… Thank you for this lovely gift. »
Saint-Jeuroise can’t wait for it to snow again to give life to new snow animals.
