Since 2017, Faustine Bollaert has been at the helm of It starts today on France 2. A program which addresses many social subjects. “We do not forbid ourselves any subject. So the question of letting go of my emotions was a real debate. Initially, as soon as I showed an emotion, whether it was tears, anger or joy, it was erased during editing.“ A way of conceiving the show confirmed by the producer: “Our matrix was Jean-Luc Delarue who always remained very neutral. Except that Faustine is not at all made up in the same way, so very quickly, she was moved. We said to ourselves with the channel that “We had to stop wanting her to be so neutral, but to experience this emotion.”
