Among them, Christophe and Claire, “the chic father and the amazing daughter”. The big winners of the fourteenth edition of the game unfortunately saw their adventure stop at the gates of the final after drawing the only elimination black envelope. A deep disappointment for the father-daughter duo who had to face the Indian authorities during their journey.

The day after their elimination, Christophe and Claire confided in Tele-Leisure on the moments that marked their adventure, notably the one when they were arrested by the Indian police. “We still had some scares because we told them we didn’t have any money.. Except that, when we arrive at our destination, they realize that we are not going to pay. It seems abnormal to them, so they tell us: ‘You have to pay, it’s not normal.’ There, we start to argue, but we find ourselves surrounded by thirty people. We wonder how we’re going to get out of here…”remembered the father. “We were stopped several times by the police, you don’t see that on TV. At one point, our driver started to think we were bandits. He didn’t understand what we were doing on the show. This TV story disturbed him, he thought we weren’t being honest. He stopped at the police station.”
Christophe and Claire: their misadventure with the police cost them “ten minutes” game
Shocked by the turn of events, Christophe explained that his daughter had begged the driver to “let go”. “There it’s the same, everyone discusses, gives their opinion, we don’t understand anything. Claire starts to cry… It’s an event that cannot be controlled”he continued. The young woman for her part affirmed that this mishap had caused them “wasted ten minutes” game. “And in a race like this, it’s huge”she added.
