Dogs are animals that are particularly sensitive to heat. It is therefore our responsibility, as masters and mistresses, to ensure that they are safe from high temperatures.
When they are exposed to it, all means are good for them to protect themselves from it and get a little freshness, even if it means making a spectacle of themselves apparently. This is, in any case, what happened recently to one of them at Toronto in the province of Ontario (Canada).
A funny and surreal scene was filmed by a passerby and shared on the account Instagram « torontosight » on September 12, 2024. Its theater is the park Saint James and in particular its fountain.
Its protagonist is a German Shepherd who was clearly having trouble coping with the heat that day. To cool off, he decided to climb the fountain, then stay motionless under the water to take a long and pleasant shower.
He gave the impression of being part of the work, as if he were a sculpture adorning the fountain. It was only when he moved his head slightly that we had confirmation that it was indeed a dog, in the flesh. Here is the video, which relays Parade Pets :

Moreover, among the many Internet users who commented on the video, several admitted to having been deceived by what they saw. “ I thought it was part of the fountain », reacted aiis_xo. « It took me way too long to understand that the dog is not a statue », wrote, for his part, angel32.
