This is the most unusual portfolio received this week. He’s from Paige Vincent, a photographer specializing in tornadoes and storms. She added these few sentences:
“My goal when hunting is to capture something unique. I really enjoy combining the art of hunting and photography because those are the two things I’m most passionate about. says Paige “My favorite thing about chasing is that every storm is different and will never happen the same way again, so these photos are completely unique moments in time. »
And these tips:
“Set your camera to a slower shutter speed to capture multiple flashes.
Start with an aperture between f/8 and f/11 to ensure a wide depth of field.
Focus on the distance where the storm is most likely to occur.”
One of Paige’s signature items is her red dress. “Whenever I have time, I will try to take a Red Dress photo,” she shares. “That’s kind of what I’m known for with my photography. The goal of my pursuit is more artistic, and the red dress acts as a juxtaposition of something beautiful in front of something destructive.”
Born in Dallas, Texas, Paige initially studied graphic design, but discovered a passion for photography while traveling in her mid-twenties. First a passenger with friends, she now chases storms all summer in Arizona.
Paige was featured in the first episode of The Road Less Traveleda series created by KÜHL, which aims to provide insight into the lives of those who value their independence and face the challenges that come with it.
