The architectural projects of the Ain department are open to the public for one day. On the occasion of the national architecture days, Caue joined forces with the Ain architects’ association to offer tours of the department’s various projects on Saturday October 19.
Individual houses, private professional buildings and public buildings, under construction or delivered will be presented to visitors free of charge. The visits will be commented by the project architect accompanied by an architect from Caue de l’Ain. For certain visits, elected officials or artisans will also be present.
Recycling center, village halls, barn…
Several sectors of the department are affected by these visits. The one in Côtière Val de Saône will offer a visit to a house clinging to the slope in Neyron and an after-school center in Parcieux and a third place under construction in Trévoux.
Near Bourg-en-Bresse, a visit to a former sorting center transformed into professional premises will be organized. In the area it will also be possible to visit the construction site of the village hall in Saint-Denis-les-Bourg and the rehabilitation of a village house in Meillonnas. For the Bresse-Dombes sector, the new Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne recycling center will be open as well as a construction site for a barn transformed into a house. And many other visits are planned throughout the department.
