Rubio’s nomination as head of US diplomacy passed

The US Senate unanimously approved the nomination of Marco Rubio as Secretary of State on Monday evening, the day of US President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Mr Rubio becomes the first member of the new US administration to be confirmed.
