A. Sow, a teacher at the Taif Vocational Training Center, was arrested and referred for burglary cases. He was caught in the middle of robbing a money transfer point by a gendarmerie patrol, while he was trying to flee.
The investigations carried out revealed that Sow had already committed two burglaries of Wave points during the month of October, making fraudulent withdrawals totaling 360,000 CFA francs. During the search, the authorities found stolen equipment, various tools used for break-ins as well as the key to a service vehicle. The teacher admitted to the acts alleged against him, saying he needed money to care for his sick mother.
