A jazz concert like in the days of silent cinema, today

Montargis. A jazz concert from the days of silent cinema on Sunday. Today, Sunday, the Hot club du Gâtinais will produce its first concert of 2025 by welcoming the Three Blind Mice, with Silence, action, jazz ! at 4 p.m. at the Tivoli.

Malo Mazurié, Félix Hunot and Sébastien Girardot will immerse the public in the time of silent cinema where they will play masterpieces of this cinema by Georges Méliès, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton. These three little mice came last year in a Bechet program.

They will play jazz standards from the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s as well as well-known classical music tunes performed in a purely acoustic orchestration: trumpet and melodica, slide flute, guitar and banjo, double bass and vocals.

This show, while it will delight jazz lovers, could also appeal to children.
