A new drama linked to firearms across the Atlantic. Two people were killed Monday, December 16 during a shooting at an Abundant Life Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin (northern United States). A juvenile suspect was shot dead, and five other people were injured, a police spokeswoman said. At one time five dead, the toll was revised downwards on Facebook by the authorities, who cited a communication error.
According to local media, such as WMTV 15, the suspect was a student at the school. Some injured people are also in a life-threatening emergency, adds the channel, citing police sources. According to its website, Abundant Life School serves nearly 400 students from kindergarten to 12th grade. No less than 200 families live on campus, specifies the establishment. An alert was sent to residents of the area shortly after 11 a.m. local time (6 p.m. in Paris). President Joe Biden is being kept informed of the situation, the White House said.
