The Nordic countries are preparing their populations for a possible war with Russia. On Monday, November 18, Swedish authorities began sending more than five million brochures encouraging their citizens to be prepared for a possible armed conflict, with practical instructions. The Norwegians also received a similar document urging them to know how to manage without water or electricity, in particular, for a week. In Finland, the government provided advice on a website dedicated to “incident and crisis preparedness”.
These three countries, geographically close to Russia, fear the current rise in geopolitical tensions and the repercussions on their territory in the event of an escalation in the conflict in Ukraine.
