Donald Trump appoints Sean Duffy, former congressman and Fox Business anchor, to transportation

Donald Trump announced, Monday, November 18, his choice for the post of Minister of Transport: Sean Duffy, a 53-year-old former congressman and supporter of fiscal responsibility, will obtain a vast federal portfolio of infrastructure spending and regulations.

“During his time in Congress, Sean was a respected voice among Republicans, advocating for fiscal responsibility and economic growth”argues the president-elect of the United States in a press release.

Donald Trump specifies that his minister “will restore safety to our skies by ending pilot and air traffic controller diversity programs”. “He will prioritize excellence, competence, competitiveness and beauty when rebuilding America’s highways, tunnels, bridges and airports”adds the manager. The press release mentions, finally, that he is the father of “nine incredible children” and therefore knows “how important it is for families to travel safely”.

Sean Duffy, like Pete Hegseth, chosen by Trump as defense minister, made a career in television. Reality TV star before his election to the House of Representatives in 2010, for Wisconsin, he hosts a show on Fox Business.
