Secret Service agent fired for inviting girlfriend to Obama house

“When the cat is not there… the mice dance”, some will think. And indeed, the author Koryeah Dwanyen, who published a biography on October 28 (Undercover Heartbreak : a Memoir of Trust and Trauma), reveals in its pages how she was able, thanks to her former companion, to experience a romantic getaway to the Obama couple's vacation home, in Hawaii, in their absence. In November 2022, the date of the incident, her lover, nicknamed “Dale”, was then an American secret service agent and missioned to protect the former President of the United States and his family.

The woman who has since become his ex-girlfriend recounts the facts as follows: he first sent several photos of the couple's luxurious home before offering to discover the place for herself. This would be their famous property of around 1000 m², built in 1998 and put on sale since 2017 for 8 million euros. Koryeah Dwanyen explained that he received messages of a sexual nature and irreverent ideas while he was in different rooms of the house. “We should make love in Michelle's bathroom (Obama, ed), like in a club a kilometer above sea level,” she recalled.

“An unacceptable violation”

Information confirmed by Anthony Guglielmi, head of communications for the Secret Service, with ABC News, affirming that an incident corresponded well to these revelations. “On November 6, 2022, a secret service agent responsible for protecting individuals brought in without authorization another person who did not have access to the residence of the individual to be protected,” explained the representative. The latter considered that this was an “unacceptable violation of our protocols, of the trust of our beneficiaries and of everything we represent”. He finally assured that an investigation had been opened against the agent and that he had since been fired.

Koryeah Dwanyen finally pointed out that throughout their relationship, her lover (very talkative) would have shared very private information with her about the lives and habits of Barack and Michelle Obama, constituting another very serious fault and a real danger. In the Secret Service investigation, the ex-partner gave numerous proofs of good faith, including messages and photos that she had kept.
