The return of snow could occur as early as next week in Luxembourg. At least that’s what Météolux predicts in its latest weather report.
After announcing a significant drop in temperatures at the end of the week, Météolux is now forecasting snow at the start of next week. Temperatures will first drop this weekend before dropping below 0°C.
A tipping point initially announced for this week but it seems that negative temperatures will arrive a little later than expected. Next Tuesday precisely. The Findel weather station announces temperatures between -2 and 0°C in the morning then between 2 and 4°C in the afternoon.
Conditions which could be favorable for the arrival of the first snowflakes in Luxembourg. In fact, Météolux is forecasting rain and light snowfall on Tuesday afternoon. However, there is little chance that the snow will hold since rain showers are then forecast during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
If there is snow, it will probably be in places where the altitude is a little higher. It’s a safe bet that, like every year, the first to see snow will be the inhabitants of the north of the country. Do not hesitate to follow the evolution of the weather forecasts over the next few days as they can always change along the way.
