At least 60 people were injured in Israel on Sunday in an area near the northern city of Haifa, where Lebanese Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a drone attack, an Israeli emergency service said.

According to United Hatzalah, a volunteer rescue organization, medical teams “are providing assistance to more than 60 injured people with varying degrees of injuries: critical, serious, moderate and light” in the Binyamina sector.
Earlier, pro-Iranian Hezbollah, in open war with Israel since September 23, announced that its fighters had fired “explosive drones at a training camp of the Golani brigade in Binyamina, south of Haifa”.
The Lebanese group dedicated this attack to its leader Hassan Nasrallah, killed on September 27 in an Israeli strike near Beirut.
Hezbollah also launched missiles at an Israeli military base near Haifa in the north of the country.
The pro-Iranian Islamist movement said in a statement that its fighters had launched “a salvo of missiles at the maintenance and rehabilitation base south of Haifa”, the largest city in northern Israel, dedicating this attack to its former -leader, Hassan Nasrallah, assassinated on September 27 by an Israeli strike near Beirut.
