On TikTok, this cat with an on-board camera is the terror of his neighborhood

ANIMALS – We nickname him “Max the menace”. Equipped with an onboard camera around his neck, he walks around his neighborhood looking for other cats. To find them, he doesn’t hesitate to enter garages, gardens, and sneak under cars. Once he has identified his target of the day, he approaches it slowly, then pounces on his victim and chases him throughout the city, as you can see in our video above.

Since April, user @max20499 has been documenting these chases on TikTok, posting compilations of the best fights caused by his cat. But it was only at the beginning of October that these videos, which regularly reach tens of millions of views, attracted the attention of Internet users wishing to know more about this cat which sows terror.

“Who owns this cat?” » exclaims, for example, a shocked Internet user on TikTok. “Who put a camera on this John Cena [du nom d’un catcheur américain, ndlr] cats? » While some are worried about the other cats, others think Max is a misunderstood hero. “It doesn’t harm kittens and old cats”deciphers Hailey, content creator, after analyzing Max’s videos. “And these aren’t random attacks, they seem personal.” He was probably being bothered, and now he’s fighting back.”.

According to the license plates that can be seen in the videos, the adventurer seems to live in China, which has pushed Internet users to rethink their vacations. “I’m trying to explain to my cat that we can’t go to China for Christmas because Max is on the loose”laughs a young woman on TikTok, while others film themselves showing their cat videos of Max’s worst fights to warn them. An effective way to convince your domestic cat not to run away, under penalty of falling on the “city boss”.
