Sierra Leone: 3 ambassadors present their credentials | APAnews

Representatives of the United Kingdom, Gambia and the European Union, Sierra Leone, presented their credentials at State House.

Ms Joséphine Gauld LVO, the new British High Commissioner, congratulated President Bio on Sierra Leone’s recent appointment to the UN Security Council. She reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to strengthening their relationship, particularly in areas of mutual interest.

Ms. Claudiana A. Cole, the new Gambian High Commissioner, also presented her credentials. She conveyed warm greetings from President Adama Barrow and stressed the importance of a strong bilateral relationship between the two nations.

Jacek Jankowski, the EU Ambassador, expressed the EU’s desire to work closely with President Bio’s administration. He highlighted the historic relationship between the EU and Sierra Leone and pledged to continue their collaboration.

President Bio welcomed the diplomats and accepted their credentials. He highlighted the importance of these relations and expressed his commitment to working with them to further strengthen bilateral ties.
