You are more likely to have burnout if you do one of these jobs

According to various studies, 10 to 15% of Belgian workers are at risk or in a situation of burnout each year. We are therefore talking about 400,000 to 500,000 people per year. If we are not all equal in the face of this evil of the century, it seems that certain professions create a predisposition to developing this type of depression.

Which professions are more at risk when it comes to burnout?

The social network LinkedIn conducted the survey from March to June of this year among 16,450 professionals in the United States to find out the answer.

Among the most stressful jobs, we find project managers at the top of the ranking with 50% of them on the verge of burnout. Next come caregivers, those who work in social services (48%), in insurance (47%) and finally, those who work in education (45%).

Burnout occurs due to too much stress. In the professions mentioned above, stress is mainly linked to the workload and responsibilities, without forgetting the often very short deadlines for carrying out tasks.

Another sign that taking time to relieve stress is more than necessary. At the slightest sign of exhaustion, it is important to slow down and consult a doctor to prevent your condition from worsening.
