Hamas official killed in Israeli strike in Lebanon

Hamas official and his family killed in Israeli strike on refugee camp in Lebanon. Many Western countries have started repatriating their nationals from the country.

Hamas announced the death of one of its officials and his family during an Israeli strike on a refugee camp in northern Lebanon.

The attack took place in the early hours of the morning, a day after a major IDF bombardment destroyed one of the main roads linking Lebanon to Syria. Further clashes between Israel and Hezbollah were reported near the border.

Nearly 2,000 people have been killed in Lebanon since September 23. This Tuesday, Israel launched a ground invasion in southern Lebanon, claiming to carry out targeted raids against Hezbollah.

News that has pushed many European countries to urge their nationals to leave the country. After , Canada, the United Kingdom and Jordan, the Netherlands began to repatriate its citizens… 185 people arrived at Eindhoven air base, including more than a hundred Dutch and members of their family.
