30,808 African migrants arrived in the Canaries in January and September

An increase. Between September 2023 and September 2024, the gap has widened. The difference is 59.1%. This year, 42,231 migrants arrived by land and sea in Spain while in 2023, there will be 26,540. What about the migrants who crossed the Spanish coast by sea? 1,207 canoes with 40,076 passengers were recorded this year compared to 1,113 boats with 25,640 passengers last year. That’s an increase of 56.3%.

What about migrants who arrived via the Canary Islands? 30,808 of them traveled in 462 canoes, increasing the slope by 105.7%. In 2023, at the same period, there were 14,976 to have traveled in 270 boats.
