“The wages of death”… How much do Russian soldiers get paid for going to the front?

While Russian authorities claim that more than 1,000 men sign up every day to fight in Ukraine, it is difficult to separate fact from fiction. But, given the financial resources deployed to find men to go to the front, it is likely that the situation will become more complicated for the Kremlin, which is ready to dig deep into its pockets to find new soldiers.
