In Paris, emotions are still strong following the death of young Elias, 14, on Friday. As a reminder, the latter was stabbed to death in the collarbone after leaving football training. Rushed to hospital, he died on Saturday.
The two suspects, aged 16 and 17, have been questioned by investigators from the Paris judicial police since Friday evening. According to The Parisianthe two teenagers, well known to the courts, made certain confessions. They admitted to being near the Jules Noël stadium (where Elias had his training) Friday evening around 8 p.m.
They also admitted to trying to extort the teenager’s cell phone with violence. However, they deny delivering the fatal blow to the collarbone, adds The Parisian.
-Note that the 16-year-old teenager is known for violent theft. As for the oldest, he is known to the police for theft, violent extortion and for carrying a category D weapon, that is to say bladed weapons, specifies The Parisian.
Still according to the French daily, the latter is suspected of being the author of the stabbing. They are expected to appear in juvenile court in June.
