ICC: arrest warrants requested against Taliban leaders

“There are reasonable grounds to believe that the criminal responsibility of the Supreme Leader of the Taliban, Hibatullah Akhundzada, and the President of the Supreme Court of the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’, Abdul Hakim Haqqani, is incurred for the crime against humanity of gender-based persecution,” Karim Khan said in a statement.
