Suspended South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol was arrested Wednesday, nearly a month and a half after plunging the country into political chaos by briefly declaring martial law, authorities said after an assault on his residence.
The team leading the investigations executed an arrest warrant against President Yoon Suk-yeol today [mercredi] at 10:33 a.m
indicated it in a press release. Mr. Yoon, targeted by an investigation for rebellion
for his coup, is the first sitting South Korean president to be arrested.
