“Why do I like Le Lavandou?” This is the question that television and radio host Stéphane Bern answered in a video broadcast Monday evening during the greeting ceremony of the mayor of the City of Dolphins Gil Bernardi. A true declaration of love to the town and its citizens from the person who recently moved there, as discovered by the large audience gathered for this ceremony which took place under a crystal marquee, installed on the beach opposite the town hall.
“Look at this sea, this sky, this lush nature which seems to fall into the sea and we are in the middle of November. It’s a chance to be able to enjoy this Var region with such beautiful sunshine.“, described, with a smile, the man who runs the Heritage Mission, filmed on Cavalière beach, the district in which he has settled.
Installed for a few months
“What I like about Lavandou is the human warmth. The people there are charming“, confided Stéphane Bern. He indicated that he was installed in the town for a few months and having found “smiles “and only reasons to”rejoice to be a citizen of Lavandou now “. “ I’m happy to be there “, happy to “[m]’and promise ” he concluded, wishing everyone a “happy new year 2025“…. triggering thunderous applause from the large audience.
This year the mayor of Lavandou chose to break the codes by organizing a greeting ceremony “in the manner” from the Cannes festival awards ceremony or the recent Golden Globes which took place on Sunday in the United States. A succession of prizes, “best production” “best music”…, were presented by the masters of ceremonies of the evening, Georges and Angelina in evening dress. The opportunity to discuss in a light and dynamic way the results of the municipality’s achievements in 2024.
At the end of the ceremony, alongside Mayor Gil Bernardi, the masters of ceremonies, maintaining suspense, announced a prize awarded “to a better supporting role”… that the public discovered on the screen with Stéphane Bern’s characteristic smile in a message lasting just over a minute.
