NARRATIVE – The attack attributed to the Islamic State is the latest bad news that the American president must face, while Donald Trump distributes advice and promises.

Clearly, Joe Biden will have had a difficult end to his reign! Three weeks before the end of his mandate, his Administration found itself confronted with a terrorist attack which left at least 15 dead and dozens injured in New . And a few hours later, a pickup truck exploded in front of the Trump hotel in Las Vegas, killing one person and injuring seven. It is not yet known whether the two incidents are linked.

Joe Biden's problems have continued to pile up in recent months. At 82, he leaves the White House with only 37% favorable opinion, one of the lowest rates for an outgoing president. He had to humiliatingly withdraw from the presidential race in July, under pressure from his own party. Some Democrats accuse him, by choosing to represent himself, of having contributed to the victory of Donald Trump. Many saw Kamala Harris' defeat as a repudiation of her policies…
