Ms. Naïma Ibn Yahya, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, presided, Wednesday December 18, 2024 in Agadir, in the company of Mr. Saïd Amzazi, wali of the Souss-Massa region and governor of the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanane, of Ms. Zineb Qiyouh, vice-president of the Souss-Massa Regional Council, of the first president of the Agadir Court of Appeal, the King's Attorney General near the Agadir Court of Appeal, as well as Ms. Amina Afroukhi, vice-president of the National Union of Women of Morocco, the closing of the activities of the 22nd national campaign to combat violence against women and girls. This campaign, launched on November 25, 2024, focused on the theme: “For a family environment favorable to social education without violence against women”, under the slogan: “A family without violence… A prosperous society. »

This meeting was attended by governors of provinces and prefectures of the Souss-Massa region, representatives of government sectors, national institutions, judicial authorities and civil society.

The event was marked by the signing of cooperation and partnership agreements between the Ministry, the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa region, the National Union of Women of Morocco and local associations working in the areas of women, children and people with disabilities. These agreements aim to strengthen efforts on the ground to improve services for target groups.

The day was also distinguished by field visits, notably to the Taddart Anza Center for Creativity and Innovation, as well as to the Reception and Orientation Center for Women Victims of Violence
