New York Police Chief Resigns: He Allegedly Asked For Sexual Favors In Exchange For Overtime

The New York City police chief allegedly requested sexual favors from a female lieutenant in exchange for overtime, according to the “New York Post.”

The daily reported that Jeffrey Maddrey allegedly belittled Lieutenant Quathisha Epps. In an exclusive interview, she indicated that the police chief was used to making inappropriate remarks towards her.

According to a complaint filed for employment discrimination, her boss asked her for sexual favors in exchange for overtime, between June 2023 and December 16, 2024.

According to the 51-year-old woman, the police chief knew that she particularly needed money.

“He said: 'We're going to save your house. I'm going to put up with you like you put up with me when we fuck,'” she said.

“He always asked me to kiss his penis,” she added.

The mother of three said she was sexually assaulted at work.

“I was asking him to stop, but at a certain point I stopped doing it,” she said, calling him “predatory.”

Quathisha Epps reportedly earned $200,000 due to overtime on the job. She apparently decided to retire more quickly because of the attacks against her.

The lieutenant was allegedly sexually assaulted on more than ten occasions by Jeffrey Maddrey.

The latter resigned on Friday evening after noting the allegations against him.
